Can't get my 126.00 refund

Well, guess I won't be ordering from Eddie Bauer anymore. What happed?? They used to be a very credible company. They must be in China now. I placed my order August 15 and sent it back Aug. 29th (approx). I have still not received my $126.00 back from them. I hope PayPal has better luck.

Giant rip in blanket

I ordered a blanket for a get well present through Amazon. It came with a giant rip through the box and the blanket. Eddie Bauer told me to contact Amazon. Amazon told me to contact Eddie Bauer. Neither would help although Amazon offered to process a refund if I pay for a UPS pick-up and the shipping costs. Eddie Bauer used to be honorable.

Eddie Bauer does not honor Lifetime warranty

I am sad to say I no longer can recommend or buy EDDIE BAUER brand. Eddie Bauer no longer stands behind their products.

The lifetime warranty that has made them so reputable is no longer in effect.

I purchased luggage because of the lifetime warranty. Now when a zipper breaks they will not honor the lifetime warranty even with the tag in my hand. It was worth the price with the warranty, but not now.

SLOW SHIPPING!!!!!

Ordered boots in Late Aug/2022.

Package is still sitting in Burlington, On as of mid Sept.

I'm hoping the package actually arrives after reading all these 1 Star reviews.

The WORST customer service

Eddie Bauer has the WORST customer service imaginable. I have spent over an hour and a 1/2 calling 4 different times to try to get a simple matter resolved. The matter was, in fact, a fault of Eddie Bauer. Their Labor Day sale started on a specific date. They did not have their computers adjusted to reflect the sale price on orders after midnight but at 6 AM they did. Trying to get the price adjustment that was due to me, and still has not happened. When you ask to speak to a supervisor, you're placed on hold for more minutes, no one ever gets on the phone, no one calls you back. There are other companies that you can do business with a lot easier, with a lot less frustration and who would value your business.

Beware beware of ordering online!!

Oh, I wish I had seen these comments before I ordered these pants. So, it's not just me who is being scammed by the Eddie Bauer delivery. I would rate their shipping as TERRIBLE. I ordered a pair of pants (again because I trusted the brand name) over a month ago. I got a message that my order had been "shipped" and would arrive in 5-7 business days but that was over two weeks ago. Only buy in store! I'm planning on calling "customer service" tomorrow to see if that will help.

This company has completely collapsed…

This company has completely collapsed from what it use to be. I ordered from them for the 1st in years and its a total joke. They will say shipped very fast but nothing actually ships. They just create a label and say its shipped. Their support is nothing and somewhere in another country. They just read off the scripts on their screen.

That mess of creating labels but not shipping, but claiming is shipped and then blaming the shipping companies is disgusting. Only really bad companies do that anymore. Then they say have to wait over 15 business days, Well Fedex runs 7 days a week now so they are totally lying.

Total scam like company, which is why Amazon and others do so well and these types don't, they actually ship when someone orders! Now I will probably have to reverse the charges because they completely hide from contact. I assume they will end up bankrupt with upper management cashing in, which appears to the the Amercan way quite often. But unless you want to see never updating tracking and want to donate money to them, best to go in one of their silly stores in person.

OUTSOURCED!

This company, which has cashed-in here in the USA, OUTSOURCES its Customer Service team to the Philippines! They have ZERO understanding of what Americans expect when they contact a Customer Service department, and are ENTIRELY unhelpful and rude! I've had it with American companies sending my calls overseas only to be spoken to by someone who changes their phone name every other day! Why can't you hire people that work from home in the USA (where you sell your products, buy the way) to take these calls and provide your customers with the service that we deserve?

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. do not order with them. First order sat in depot for 10 days and then they sent it back to the store! Second order sat at the same depot even though it was expedited. Worst shipping ever. Do not use Landmark shipping!!!!!!!!

Don't do business with them

Don't do business with them. They send an email your order has shipped, charge your credit card and all thye do is print a label. You pay for express shipping and they say order will be there in a few days more than a week later order has not shipped.

You will wait on hold to speak with someone from a country other than the US who barely speaks English and does not deviate from scripted responses. This person will give you vague answers, or multiple different, contradictory, answers depending on how many times you ask the same question. You will spend at least 45 minutes on the phone. The end result of the call with this "customer service" representative will be that nothing more is accomplished other than you gaining enlightening you as to how it feels to want to rip your own hair out at the same time as crawling through the phone and strangling someone.

Is EddieBauer a scam or a legit company?

They are a legitimate company. They do have some good quality products, although not all. But their customer service is just terrible now. It has been on a downhill spiral (outsourcing - and not utilizing a central customer service site in the U.S.) I've spoken to individuals recently who have such a thick accent that I cannot understand them, and prior to that they were outsourcing to home workers who had no authority to do anything.

They are a legit company if you go into their stores. Their online business is a disaster this past year all customer service un Asia completely inept. They dont ship charge you anyhow create fake fed ex nnos. Insane.
